For men... who think they are good guys

For men... who think they are good guys

In a series of scenes, Tanguy R. BITARIHO questions his gender. Questions GENRES. The show is a single poetic stage. Between theatre, stand-up and poetry.

Good guys. That's who we are. In this square, with my friends, we were all good guys. So many good guys and not a single one. Not even me. Not even I dared to say; That what we were doing was not right. So, why? Why this silence from men? Why should kindness be weakness? Why would silence allow us to be neutral? Why is "not all men" a waste of time? Why is "it's just a hand in the ass" not so funny, in fact? Why should all this become, too, the problem of men? Why should feminism be everyone's business? For... What? Men... Since Me Too, since Balance ton porc, so many women have spoken out about sexist and sexual violence. So many women... and so few men...

Tanguy R. BITARIHO was born in Burundi and grew up in Belgium. As a teenager, it was travelling between Belgium and his native country that opened the first door to poetry. Tossed between two cultures, being a foreigner everywhere and at home nowhere made him an "Inhabitant of nowhere, Native of Everywhere" as he likes to say. Thus, it was during a Poetry Slam tournament in high school that he made his first steps. Young and a poet in his spare time, it was at the Faculty of Letters in Nancy that the click was made. It was by seeing several storytellers shine on stage that the impetus he had been waiting for so much was made! Today, Tanguy has launched himself into the world of show business to share and bring Poetry to life through various writing workshops and shows around storytelling and slam.
